Original Story – Fortnite Week 10 Challenges are coming later today and they’ll be the last for Season 5 before we venture into the unknown of Fortnite Season 6 and whatever that Fortnite Cube appears to be doing. These new challenges should be going live at 2 pm BST later today and offer players a last chance to grab as many Battle Stars to put towards that Season 5 Battle Pass.
Why should you complete these challenges? Well, they help you gain XP that can be used to level up, and Battle Stars to rank up the Battle Pass (if you chose to purchase it). This ultimately means more free skins, gliders, pickaxes, emotes and more throughout the season.
For week 10, one of the harder tasks presented by Epic Games which reads: “Search Jigsaw puzzle pieces in basements”.
You’ll need to find seven of these puzzle pieces if you want to cross the task off your list.
Thankfully we have an explainer on how to complete this peculiar Week 10 challenge…
Search Jigsaw puzzle pieces in basements
So, the first problem for players is that, well, we’ve never seen any jigsaw pieces in the game before.
It sort of reminds us of when the gnome challenges were suddenly added to the game.
It was a bit of a mystery as to how the challenge would work so players had to figure it out on the fly.
Thankfully, with the jigsaw pieces, we sort of having a head start because essentially you just need to follow the basements, of which there are seven. The same number of jigsaw pieces you need to find to complete the challenge.
You can follow the video above to show you first hand where these basements can be found.
